Does TRCN certificate expire?
No, it doesn’t.
TRCN certificates do NOT expire, but TRCN license does.
While your ‘license’ to teach is renewed yearly, your ‘certificate’ of membership is valid for life.
This validity and renewal is one of the major DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRCN CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE.
How much is TRCN certificate?

TRCN certificate fee is different from induction and TRCN LICENSE FEES.
Is there a deadline for TRCN certificate collection?
Yes, a one-year deadline.
The certificate is collected after passing TRCN exam.
And successful TRCN EXAM RESULTS are only valid for one year.
So your TRCN certificate must be collected within that one-year period after passing the exam.
Otherwise, the result expires and you’d have to resit the exam to be eligible for the certificate again.

Also confirm that you passed the exam by CHECKING YOUR TRCN RESULT before the step to collect TRCN certificate.
1. Check your result
On that result page, click the PROCEED TO CERTIFICATE button at the bottom of your successful TRCN result.
2. Enter your profile
The result button loads your profile or you can login your profile on TRCN portal.
Your profile will show, ‘Certificate Verification’, click UPDATE NOW.
Select ‘I don’t have TRCN certificate’ and click NEXT.
3. Make the payment
The portal will then calculate your TRCN CERTIFICATE FEE based on your category and generate a payment invoice.
Click MAKE PAYMENT and use any of ATM card, USSD or Bank Transfer options to complete your payment online.
4. Download your certificate
Do NOT leave or close the payment page until it successfully reloads by itself.
Some minutes after your payment, that page will redirect you to another page where a DOWNLOAD YOUR CERTIFICATE button is displayed.
Click the button and your certificate will be downloaded into your device.
If you leave without downloading it immediately, your next visit will demand that you pay for TRCN LICENSE before you can now access the certificate again.
What next after I collect TRCN certificate?
Proceed to get your license too.
Remember that the certificate is only your ‘proof of membership’ with TRCN, the license is what legally ‘permits’ you to stand in front of a classroom and teach.
