Does TRCN license expire?
Yes, it does.
Unlike the certificate, TRCN license expires after the first 3 years, after which it must be renewed every year.
This renewal is a major DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TRCN CERTIFICATE AND LICENSE
How much is TRCN license?
At your first license collection, you’ll pay for three years at once.
But afterwards, it is renewed yearly.

Is there deadline for collecting TRCN license?
No, there isn’t.
Only TRCN certificate collection has deadline.
As long as you’ve collected the certificate, you can process TRCN license anytime.
But remember that it’s against the law to teach without a ‘permit’, which is the license.

Ensure you’ve collected TRCN certificate first. If not, SEE HOW TO GET IT now.
1. Login your profile
Log into your profile on TRCN portal and click UPDATE NOW under ‘License Verification’.
Select ‘I don’t have TRCN license’ and click NEXT.
2. Make the payment
The portal will then calculate your TRCN LICENSE FEE based on your category and generate a payment invoice.
Click MAKE PAYMENT and use any of ATM card, USSD or Bank Transfer options to complete your payment online.
3. Download your certificate
Wait for your payment to be processed and the page to reload by itself.
This will redirect you to another page where a DOWNLOAD YOUR LICENSE button is displayed.
Click the button and your TRCN license will be downloaded into your device.

Start enjoying the full benefits.
Certificate is ‘proof of membership’ with TRCN, while the license is your legal ‘permit’ to teach.
So, add it to your cover letter or CV and start applying to those big schools both in Nigeria and abroad with much more confidence and higher chances.
