Which states don’t require Praxis at all?
They include Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan and Minnesota.
These are states that do not require Praxis exams for any certification but use their own test alternative only.
- ARIZONA (uses AEPA or NES)
- FLORIDA (uses FTCE)
- ILLINOIS (uses ILTS)
- MICHIGAN (uses MTTC)
- MINNESOTA (uses MTLE)
Iowa does not have or require any teacher certification test, except Praxis II for Foreign Language Teaching.
